Please shake cartridge up and down several times before removing from clip to refresh print head.

Make sure that cartridges are always kept in up-right position. Laying the cartridge on its side or flipping it upside will cause the ink to flow away from the print head, causing the cartridge to not print properly.

You may receive the following message when installing a cartridge. Just click the "OK" button on the first screen. This is a message that HP has made to try and make you buy only brand new cartridges. This first screen will only appear when you first install the cartridge. The cartridge will still print fine.
Your ink level indicator may show your cartridge to be empty, but it is not. You will know when you run out of ink when the cartridge no longer prints ink on the paper.
